This federal program helps  households in need with heating costs, regardless of fuel type (oil, gas, electric, wood).

What it Covers: Heating bills, weatherization, furnace repairs, utility discount

If you have an electric or gas bill, your utility company offers financial assistance programs, often tied to LIHEAP eligibility, for discounted rates or bill help.

Call 211 to speak with a specialist who can connect you to local fuel assistance, utility help, and other social services.

If a household has NO HEAT, please call WCAC directly for immediate emergency assistance at
508-754-1176.

A joint effort by energy companies and the Salvation Army for emergency utility assistance

413Cares.org is a free online community resource database connecting residents in Western Massachusetts to critical low-cost and free services.
